DON’T WORRY ABOUT FAILURE.

Happy new month to everyone reading… I know it’s the 6th day of the month and it’s pretty late to say happy new month but you know what they say, “it’s better late than never”…

Two days ago, on my way back from a stroll, I overhead two men discussing about their lives and how the year was already ending and they had nothing to show for it…. One blamed it on “Buhari’s regime” and wouldn’t travel back home because he feels embarrassed, while the other said he just doesn’t understand what’s happening.

Yesterday I saw this post card in between my old books and after reading it’s content, I decided to share with everyone. I think it’s fate that I saw it although some would call it coincidence…..

You’ve failed many times, although you may not remember.

You fell down the first time you tried to walk. You almost drowned the first time you tried to swim, didn’t you? How many times did you fall off the first time you tried to ride a bicycle?

R.H. Macy, the founder of the popular store Macy’s failed seven times before his store in New York caught on. English novelist John Creasey got his stories rejected 753 tines. Eventually he had 564 books published. Babe Ruth struck out 1,330 times, but he also hit 714 home runs. Many times we don’t even try our chances because of the fear of failing.

Don’t worry about failure, rather, worry about the chances you middle when you don’t even try.

The truth is yes the year is already ending and a lot of us are yet to achieve one third of what we had planned out for the year. While a lot of us did achieve more than we had bargained for this year. Whatever the case may be, never stop pushing or trying harder each time.

Last week, there was this comedy statement trending in all the social media. “A woman who her pastor declared this year as her year of marriage, upliftment and promotion is waiting till December 31st to confront him”. Might sound funny but a lot has happened this year. People died, we lost a loved one despite all our prayers and seed sowing , we failed an important promotion we read hard for, we didn’t get the contract we prayed so hard for, we were dumped by our spouse we dated or were married to for years, we lost our jobs, we still didn’t get married this year, we still didn’t get pregnant, and so much more.
There’s one thing I want us to know. That the year hasn’t ended and a lot of things can still happen. Our miracle of the 11th hour. I also want you to learn something today. It’s not going to be easy, but let’s learn to count our blessings instead of our losses or our would’ve been achievements..

What ever situation you find yourself in now, think about the next person who is going through worse and be grateful. God has a reason for everything even if hearing yourself  say it sometimes sounds weird because no matter how strong you’re, you get tempted to ask “God Why?”

It’s a month of Christmas. A month of celebration, of thanksgiving, of sharing and appreciation… Who doesn’t love CHRISTMAS!

It’s all about you………………….Never give up!
